PUBLIC NOTICE OF DRAFT CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM – PORTAGE COUNTY DRAFT CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW The Portage County Board of Commissioners hereby provides notice that a draft Citizen Participation Plan has been prepared for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program administered through the Ohio Department of Development. The Portage County Regional Planning Commission administers the CDBG Program on behalf of the Portage County Board of Commissioners. The Citizen Participation Plan outlines the policies and procedures Portage County will follow to encourage citizen involvement in the planning, implementation, and assessment of CDBG-funded activities. The draft Citizen Participation Plan will be available for public review and comment for a period of thirty (30) days beginning on May 29, 2026, through June 28, 2026, at the Portage County Regional Planning Commission, 449 S. Meridian Street, 6th Floor, Ravenna, Ohio 44266, during normal business hours. The draft plan may also be viewed online www.portagecounty-oh.gov/portage-county-board-commissioners. Portage County encourages residents, public agencies, and other interested parties to review the draft plan and submit written comments. Comments may be submitted by mail or email and must be received by June 28, 2026. Comments should be directed to: Portage County Regional Planning Commission 449 S.
