PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPLY FOR EPA BROWNFIELDS CLEANUP GRANT The Waterfront Botanical Gardens hereby gives notice of its intent to apply for an EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant. Funding Requested: $4,000,000 Grant Type: Single Site Cleanup Site Location: Waterfront Botanical Gardens 1435 Frankfort Avenue (Parcel B) Louisville, KY 40206 The proposed project involves cleanup activities at the Ohio Street Landfill, formally operated by the City of Louisville, to address environmental contamination in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and cleanup standards. A copy of the draft grant application, including the Draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA), will be available for public review and comment prior to the public meeting at the following location: Crescent Hill Library (Community Bulletin Board) 2762 Frankfort Avenue Louisville, KY 40206 Hours: Monday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Note: A copy of the draft grant application, including the Draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) can be accessed via the Waterfront Botanical Gardens website at www.waterfrontgardens.org.
