PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED FLOOD HAZARD REVISION
Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) – Case No. 26-04-2090R
In accordance with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations at 44 CFR §65.7(b)(1), the Bay County Planning and Zoning Department hereby provides notice of its intent to revise Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) flood hazard information for an area generally located along the Mill Bayou Tributary near the intersection of Pipeline Road and Country Lake Drive, extending southeast approximately 2,600 feet within Bay County, Florida.
This notice is being issued in connection with a proposed Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) for Case No. 26-04-2090R associated with a planned development project submitted by NW Florida LD, LLC. The proposed project includes construction of a 292-lot single-family residential subdivision intended to support residential growth within Bay County. The proposed project will result in increases in the 1-percent-annual-chance (base) water-surface elevations for the Mill Bayou Tributary.
Upon completion of the proposed project, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request is expected to be submitted to FEMA. The resulting hydrologic and hydraulic analysis indicates that the following changes to flood hazard information are proposed:
The floodway will be widened and narrowed from near the corner of Pipeline Road and Country Lake Drive extending southeast roughly 2,600 feet along the Mill Bayou Tributary North Reach. The floodway will increase and decrease within the revised area.

Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will increase and decrease along Mill Bayou Tributary North Reach.
The SFHA will be widened and narrowed along the Mill Bayou Tributary North Reach.

This information will be available for review from July 1, 2026 through August 1, 2026. Written comments regarding the proposed flood hazard revision may be submitted to the Bay County Planning and Zoning Department during this period.
