PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVISION TO RICHLAND TOWNSHIP SEWAGE FACILITIES PLAN Chapter 71 of the Department of Environmental Protection Rules and Regulations require that the sponsor of a proposed community small flow treatment facility to serve Dale – 1320 N West End, a proposed commercial land development project, located in Richland Township, Bucks County notify and allow the general public to comment as a result of the project proposing resolution of a conflict between the proposed alternative and the consistency requirements contained in the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act, and the Richland Township Official Plan revision for sewage facilities. The Plan calls for installation of a community small flow treatment facility with a dry stream channel discharge to serve the sewage needs, five equivalent dwelling units, of a commercial property. The facility is proposed to discharge into a dry drainage swale that discharges to an unnamed tributary of the Tohickon Creek. The treatment facility is to be installed on an existing +/- 3.06 acre tract located at 1320 N West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951. The general public may review the proposed revision at the Richland Township Building, 1328 California Rd, Suite A, Quakertown, PA 18951 between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. A thirty (30) day comment period has been established during which Richland Township will accept written comments from the public on the proposed revision. Written comments may be sent to Ms. Leslie Huhn, Township Manager, 1328 California Rd, Suite A, Quakertown, PA 18951. The municipality will address the comments before taking any action on the plan.
