PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE

PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE MidAmerican Energy Company plans to submit a Notice of Intent to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under the NPDES General Permit No. 2 "Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities". The stormwater discharge will be from site grading and construction activities, located in the NE 1/4 of Section 30, T79N R05W of the 5th P.M., City of Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa. Storm water will be discharged from two point source(s) and will be discharged to the following streams: southwest into an unnamed tributary to Snyder Creek in Johnson County. Comments may be submitted to the Storm Water Discharge Coordinator, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, 502 E. 9th Street, Des Moines, IA 50319-0034.
