PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE St Luke The Evangelist Catholic Church plans to submit a Notice of Intent to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under the NPDES General Permit No. 2 "Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities". The stormwater discharge will be from St. Luke The Evangelist Catholic Church consists of 17.8 acres of planned unit development ground. Construction activities will be associated with the development of a church building addition, parking lot expansion, and other civil improvements. Soil disturbing activities include clearing and grubbing, grading, construction of staging area and construction entrances/exit, and installation of erosion and sediment controls. located in NW 1/4 Sections 16, Township 80 North, Range 24 West, Polk County. Storm water will be discharged from 2 point source(s) and will be discharged to the following streams: Rock Creek and Murphy Branch. Comments may be submitted to the Storm Water Discharge Coordinator, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, 502 E. 9th Street, Des Moines, IA 50319-0034.
