PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORMWATER DISCHARGE

PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORMWATER DISCHARGE City of Waukee plans to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Stormwater General Permit No. 2 - Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities. The stormwater discharge will be from construction activities associated with roadway construction including grading, utilities, and paving operations. The stormwater discharge will be located in NW 1/4 and NE 1/4, Section 5, Township 78N, Range 26W; and SE 1/4, Section 33, Township 79N, Range 26W; and SW 1/4, Section 34, Township 79N, Range 26W, Dallas County; generally along S Warrior Ln from Broderick Dr to Park Rd and along University Ave from S Warrior Ln approximately 2,500 feet west. Stormwater will be discharged to the following receiving streams: Unnamed tributary to Sugar Creek.
