PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORMWATER DISCHARGE

PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORMWATER DISCHARGE City of Waukee plans to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Stormwater General Permit No. 2 - Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities. The stormwater discharge will be from construction activities associated with roadway construction including grading, utilities, and paving operations. The stormwater discharge will be located in NW 1/4 and SW 1/4, Section 5, Township 78N, Range 26W; NW 1/4, NE 1/4, and SE 1/4 Section 6, Township 78N, Range 26W; and SE 1/4, Section 32, Township 79N, Range 26W, Dallas County; generally along Ute Ave from Sugar Creek to University Ave, and between U Ave and Ute Ave from Westown Pkwy to University Ave. Stormwater will be discharged to the following receiving streams: Two unnamed tributaries to Sugar Creek.
