Request for Qualifications for Architectural Design Services
Robert K. Fox Family YMCA Elevator Accessibility Project
The Family YMCA of Lancaster and Fairfield County is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural firms to provide professional design services for the Robert K. Fox Family YMCA Elevator Accessibility Project, located at 465 West Sixth Avenue, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
The project includes planning, design, documentation, bidding support, and construction administration services related to the proposed installation of a new elevator to improve accessibility within the facility. The selected firm will assist the YMCA in evaluating existing conditions, code and accessibility requirements, structural considerations, project feasibility, cost implications, and operational impacts.
Statements of Qualifications will be evaluated based on relevant experience, project team qualifications, project approach, capacity, past performance, and experience with applicable Ohio public improvement, state-funded project, and accessibility requirements. Selection is intended to follow qualifications-based selection principles for professional design services.

Statements of Qualifications must be received no later than August 18, 2026.
The Family YMCA of Lancaster and Fairfield County reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive irregularities, modify the schedule, cancel or reissue the RFQ, and make an award in the best interest of the project and the YMCA.
