PUBLIC NOTICE
Please take notice that Christos Zalidis ("Applicant") has filed an application for development with the Borough of Westville Land Use Board ("Board") regarding real property located at 805 Little Chestnut Street and designated as block 72.01, lot 1 on the municipal tax map. The property is located in the C-3 Business District, where conversions of existing dwellings to duplexes are a conditional use. The Applicant seeks conditional use approval to convert the existing multifamily dwelling into a duplex, with one unit on the upper level and one unit on the lower level. The Applicant does not propose changes to the existing improvements on the property, other than minor interior improvements, adding a trash enclosure and paving a walkway from the driveway along Chestnut Street to the lower level access.
The Applicant also requests any variances, submission waivers, exceptions, design waivers, de minimis exceptions, interpretations, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting non-conforming conditions, additional conditional use approval, other approvals reflected on the plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) as may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the application by the Board and its professional staff, and permits requested or required by the Board at the public hearing.
This application shall be considered by the Board on October 6, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in-person in the Borough of Westville Municipal Building, 165 Broadway, Council Chambers, Westville, New Jersey, at which time you may appear either in person or through an attorney and present any objection that you may have to the granting of this application. A copy of the application and supporting documentation is on file in the Board's offices located at Borough of Westville Municipal Building, 165 Broadway, Westville, New Jersey and is available for public inspection during regular business days and hours. It is recommended that any interested party contact the Land Use Board Secretary, Nicole L. The application may be adjourned to another date without further notice to you and you are advised to contact the Board office in order to confirm the date and time of the hearing.
