PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA, will conduct a meeting in its capacity as the Board of Directors of the Okaloosa School Board Leasing Corporation, a Florida Not-for-Profit corporation, for the purpose of reviewing, approving, and adopting Resolution No. LC 2025-02 approving a first amendment to Lease Schedule No. 2024 to authorize and add improvements to certain athletic fields and other projects that may be financed with the proceeds of the outstanding Certificates of Participation Series 2024. The meeting will be conducted at the School District Central Administrative Complex in the Boardroom located at 202A Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida, at 8:15 a.m. on October 13, 2025, or as soon thereafter as this matter may be heard. The meeting is open to the press and public. ALL PUBLIC PARTICIPATION WILL BE SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE SCHOOL BOARD POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, CIVILITY AND LENGTH OF STATEMENTS AND PUBLIC COMMENT SEGMENTS. Any interested party who decides to appeal any decision made by the School Board with respect to any matter considered during this meeting, will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the School Board for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law.
