NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF THE AKRON CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2025, AT 9:00 A.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, THIRD FLOOR, MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 166 SOUTH HIGH STREET, ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
(1) Approval of Sales of Property and/or development plans in Urban Renewal and Community Development projects and assorted matters necessary to promote the Urban Renewal and Community Development plans
(1A) No new business
(2) Petition of Akron Public Schools for a Conditional Use to construct a K-8 elementary and middle school at 2126 13th Street, SW
(3) Petition of Circle K for a Conditional Use to construct a gas station / convenience store at 786 Brittain Road
(4) Petition of Michael Considine for a Conditional Use to construct an oversized garage at 1239 Country Club Drive
(5) Petition of Daniel Perry dba Buckeye State Credit Union for a Conditional use to retain a projecting sign over the right-of-way at 195 S. Main Street
(6) Petition of Jodi and Jason Himes for a Conditional Use to construct an oversized garage at 1432 Fawler Avenue
(7) Petition of Taco Bell of America, LLC, for a Conditional Use to rebuild a Taco Bell restaurant at 414 E. Exchange Street
(8) Akron Historic Landmark designation for the John Brown House at 514 Diagonal Road (550 Copley Road)
