PUBLIC NOTICE The Hopewell Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the following request: 2025-1068: A Conditional Use Permit request submitted by Nelson Alexander Estrada Portillo to construct a single-family dwelling on Parcel #042-0630, also identified as 1004 Elm St., and zoned B-3 Highway Commercial District. Information regarding the above-referenced matter may be examined online at www.hopewellva.gov/cases or in person at the Department of Planning & Development, Municipal Building, 300 N.
