PUBLIC NOTICE Public Notice Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Notice of Intent (NOI). Storm water runoff associated with construction activity, General Permit Rule 327 IAC 15-5 (Rule 5). Submission of this Notice of Intent letter constitutes notice that the operator is applying for coverage under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permit rule for Storm water discharges associated with construction activity (See 327 IAC 15-5 for definition of operator). Permitted operators are required to comply with all terms and conditions of the general permit rule 327 IAC 15-5 (Rule 5). Construction Project: Blackwell Commercial Development Owner (Private): Kenny Blackwell Developer (Private): Kenny Blackwell Engineer (Agent & Contact): Travis Norman Group Location of Project: NW Quadrant of Williams Park Dr., and John Williams Blvd., A part of Section 15, Township 5 North, Range 1 West, Lawrence County, Indiana Drainage: The run-off from the project site will discharge to Salt Creek discharging into the White River. Purpose of the Project: 1) Construction of a 5 Lot Commercial Development Contacts: A copy of the development and erosion and sediment control plans can be seen at Travis Norman Group, 405 I Street, Room 219, Bedford, IN 47421. Note: The operator is responsible for all construction activities within the boundaries of the project until all construction is complete. If in individual lots are to be sold within a subdivision or commercial park, the operator should consider developing contractual agreements to bind lot buyers and builders to compliance with the Soil Erosion Control Plan established by the operator and to indemnify the operator for any violations that may occur.
