PUBLIC NOTICE MONROE TOWNSHIP FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1 2026 BUDGET NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Monroe Township, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, will hold a public hearing on the approved 2026 District budget pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-78.2 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 Firehouse located at 467 Spotswood-Englishtown Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831. At said date, time and place the Board intends to adopt the approved 2026 District budget, with or without any amendments thereto. All taxpayers of the District and persons having an interest therein shall be given an opportunity to ask questions and to present objections. A complete copy of the approved 2026 District budget shall be available to each person requesting same seven (7) days preceding the public hearing from the Office of the Board of Fire Commissioners, 467 Spotswood-Englishtown Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
