PUBLIC NOTICE In accordance with the Health & Safety Code, Title 9, Chapter 772, Subchapter D, Section 772.319. Public Review, (Formerly Emergency Telephone Number Act. V.C.S. Article 1432e, Sec. 16) a public review hearing will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:30 AM in the district office at 906 Travis Street, Wichita Falls, Texas. The purpose of this review, which is required every three years, is to solicit public comments regarding operation of the Wichita-Wilbarger 9-1-1 District, the participation of the district in the regional plan for 9-1-1 service, as well as the continuation of the 9-1-1 emergency service fee. After the review hearing, the 9-1-1 Board of Managers shall adopt an order relating to the continuation or the dissolution of the district and the fee; and may choose to participate in the regional plan.
