PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with the requirements of 40 C.F.R. § 403.8 (f)(2)(viii), Section 8.7 of Resolution No. CWA 2-2011, and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit number IN0023183, CWA Authority, Inc. hereby publishes the list of industrial users of the Indianapolis sewer system that were found in significant noncompliance with federal, state, and/or local pretreatment regulations during calendar year 2025 (January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025).
The following industrial users were issued a notification of violation for noncompliance with requirements. The companies implemented corrective measures to address the noncompliance with no further enforcement action required. The requirement(s) for which the companies were in significant noncompliance is listed for each industrial user.
Alexandria Extrusion MidAmerica, LLC - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Blue Polymers LLC - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Colors, Inc. - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Commercial Finishing Corporation - Permit limit for Zinc (daily and monthly limit).
Exelead, Inc. - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Republic Polymers II, LLC - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Reworld Indianapolis, Inc. - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Unifirst Corporation - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Vesta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Vestis Services, LLC - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
Wood-Mizer, LLC - Failure to submit required report in a timely manner.
The following industrial users were issued a notice of violation and resolved noncompliance through a compliance agreement including corrective measures and assessment of a penalty. The pollutant(s) for which the companies were in significant noncompliance is listed for each.
Industrial Anodizing Co., Inc. - Permit limit for Zinc (daily and monthly limits).
R & S Plating, Incorporated - Permit limit for Cadmium, Copper, and Zinc (daily and monthly limits).
