PUBLIC NOTICE The Ohio Department of Administrative Services Multi Agency Radio Communications System (MARCS) intends to construct a new 330-foot monopile emergency telecommunications tower off Farber St on the East Sparta Water Plant property in Stark County, Ohio (40.6712, -81.365079). Verdantas LLC is publishing this notice in accordance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations (47 CFR Pt. 1, Appx. C, § V.C. and 47 CFR § 1.1307) implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act. Lighting will be Style E in accordance with FAA guidelines. Parties interested in commenting on this Federal undertaking or with questions on the proposed facility should contact Kristin Jenkins, Verdantas, LLC, 219 S. Erie Street, Toledo, Ohio 43604 or e-mail kjenkins@verdantas.com within 30-days of this posting. This is also the environmental notification for the Antenna Structure Registration process. Interested parties may review the application by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering Form 854 File Number A1383880. Environmental concerns about the proposed structure may be raised by filing a Request for Environmental Review with FCC. The FCC requires interested parties to file Requests for Environmental Review online, and instructions for making such filings can be found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest.
