PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE The Licking Valley Local School District Board of Education hereby gives public notice, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3309.345, that Mequila Archer, who is currently employed by the Board as Transportation Supervisor, will be retired and is seeking reemployment with the District in the same position following service retirement. The Board has urgent reasons to fill this position in an expedited manner because the Transportation Supervisor position is essential to the District's daily student transportation operations, and the District does not currently have an available individual to immediately backfill the position following the employee's retirement. The Board will hold a public meeting on the issue of reemploying Mequila Archer on June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Licking Valley High School Media Center, 100 Hainsview Drive NE, Newark, Ohio. The proposed reemployment would begin on or after July 1, 2026, subject to Board approval and completion of all applicable retirement system and employment requirements. May 17 2026 LWOO0519430
