PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Salton Community Services District, acting by and through its Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as "District"), will receive up to, but not later than 2:00 PM on June 29, 2026 sealed bids for the award of a contract for the proposed project:
SALTON COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT
SALTON CITY RESTROOM IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. SCP1
Project Site Address: 2208-2210 Iridescent Avenue, Thermal, CA 92274
The Contractor shall possess a California Contractor's B License at the time this contract is awarded. Bids shall be received at the Salton Community Services District offices located at 1209 Van Buren Avenue, Salton City, CA 92274, and shall be opened publicly and read aloud at the above stated time and place. The project consists of improvements to the existing men's and women's restrooms within Salton City Park.
Non-mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk on June 9, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the project site.
This is a prevailing wage project. The successful bidder and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California, for the type of work performed and the locality in which the work is to be performed within the boundaries of the District. District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
