Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center Grand Opening
Mercy Medical Center Redding is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center on September 1, 2026 establishing a new, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care services to our community. This notice serves to inform the public of our commitment to accessible, high-quality oncology services.
Description of Services:
The Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center is a newly established facility on Henderson Road relocating services from a smaller center on Hartnell Avenue in Redding,. As such, there is no elimination of beds, no decrease in personnel from an existing service and no services are being eliminated. Instead, we are adding new capacity and capabilities to complement existing healthcare infrastructure. Our center will offer a full spectrum of cancer care, including but not limited to:
Advanced diagnostic imaging (PET/CT)
Radiation oncology
Medical oncology and chemotherapy administration
Patient navigation
Supportive care services (nutrition, social work)
Retail pharmacy
Laboratory
Radiology services
