PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the requirements of the Cherry Hill Township Ordinances and New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1, et seq., and N.J.S.A. 35:3-1 et seq., you are hereby notified that an application has been filed by Gator Sawmill LLC ("Applicant") with the Cherry Hill Township Planning Board Administrator. The specific nature of the application and requested relief is detailed further below. The application plans and documents will be available for examination and review free of charge at least ten (10) days before the hearing on the Department of Community Development's ("Department") webpage at https://www.chnj.gov/113/Planning-Board and after March 1, 2026 with the New Jersey Secretary of State Legal Notices internet webpage established for this purpose. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that in accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6, et seq., and/or P.L. 2020, c.11, and/or N.J.A.C. 5:39-1, et seq., a Public Hearing will be conducted before the Planning Board ("Board") in connection with this application remotely by way of a Zoom Webinar rather than an "in-person" meeting on the 15th day of June, 2026, to prevent further spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of residents, Board Members, Township staff, professionals, and applicants. Caucus will begin at 7:00 PM and the meeting/hearing will begin at 7:30 PM.

NATURE OF RELIEF OR VARIANCES REQUESTED: The Applicant proposes to replace the existing Saw Mill Village four (4) panel multi-tenant directory sign which will continue to display the Saw Mill Village name as well as the names of certain businesses in the shopping plaza. The proposed sign will be internally illuminated and constructed in the same location as the existing freestanding sign.
The Applicant seeks approval of the following variance under the municipal land use ordinance:
1. Section 517(D)(22) to permit a multi-occupancy and/or tenant sign where multi-occupancy and/or tenant signs are not permitted. In this instance, the applicant proposes a multi-tenant occupancy sign with four (4) panels.
The Applicant also requests any additional variances, submission waivers, exceptions, design waivers, de minimis exceptions, interpretations, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting non-conforming conditions, conditional use approval, other approvals reflected on the plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) as may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the application by the Board and its professional staff, and permits requested or required by the Board at the public hearing.
