PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION FOR BID NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids for "Plumbing Services as Needed" for all sites will be received by The Housing Authority of the City of Passaic (hereby called Authority) at the Administrative Office Building: 52 Aspen Pl, Passaic, N.J. 07055, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., prevailing time. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The buildings are available for inspection between the hours of 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday by appointment only. All interested parties may schedule an appointment with the Property Manager of each site to familiarize themselves with the facilities to be serviced and submit a more accurate bid proposal. Appointments should be scheduled by Wednesday, July 1, 2026. No appointments will be made beyond this date. The IFB packet specifies the scope of the services and the requirements for submitting bids. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Program, Equal Employment Opportunity). The successful bidder shall be required to comply with all of the provisions of New Jersey prevailing wage rates, as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry. Bidders must be authorized to do business in New Jersey. Any Bidder which is a corporation not chartered under the laws of the State of New Jersey must submit an affidavit certifying that said corporate is authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, with the bid documents. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Law 1975, c.127 which pertains to "Non-Discrimination" and "Affirmative Action," and Public Law 1977, c.33, which requires a Statement of Corporate Ownership. The provisions of Affirmative Action Program, (AAP) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) are incorporated herein. Full requirements of the programs may be obtained with the bid documents. The contract will be for upt to (3) years from the start date. The Authority reserves the right to extend the contract at the end of the term under the same terms and if funding is available. Bid Submission: Each bidder shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the bid enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to Passaic Housing Authority Administrative Office, 52 Aspen Pl, Passaic, N.J. 07055, bearing the name of the bidder, upon which shall be designated: SEALED BID: PLUMBING SERVICES AS NEEDED- JULY 7, 2026, 11:00 AM. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the date of the bid without the consent of the Authority. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. It reserves the right to furnish any and all materials due to a dispute in cost. It also reserves the right to terminate the vendor, for convenience, at any time during the term of the contract.
