PUBLIC HEARING ON THE INTERPRETATION OF ORDINANCE DEFINING "ACCESSORY STRUCTURE" AS APPLIED TO THE POOL ROOM OF HOME LOCATED AT 324 NORTH FIFTH AVENUE, HIGHLAND PARK, NJ 08904
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Yelisey and Goldie Rabaev have filed an application with theZoning Board of the Borough of Highland Park regarding premises located at 324 North Fifth Street,
Highland Park, New Jersey 08904, and designated as Block 203, Lot 2.02 on the Borough tax maps. Specifically, the applicant has applied for the following: An interpretation of the Highland Park Land Use Ordinance definition of "Accessory Structure" as it applies to the pool room of their house which is presently under construction, together with any variances, exceptions, and submission waivers which may be necessary or desirable, as determined during the course of the hearing.
A public hearing on this matter has been set for June 22, 2026 @ 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall, 221South 5th Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904 or on such date, time and place to which the matter may be adjourned or carried. When the case is called, you may appear either in person or by attorney and present any objections which you may have to the granting of the relief sought by the applicant.
Maps and documents in connection with the application for which approval is sought are available for inspection in the Office of the Borough Clerk in Borough Hall, 221 South 5th Avenue, Highland Park NJ 08904 on Mondays, Wednesday's and Thursdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person or by attorney and be given an opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
This application can be viewed virtually by members of the public. The rules of the Zoning Board of the Borough of Highland Park require members of the public who wish to provide comments or ask questions regarding the application to be present in the Municipal Building during the course of the hearing. Questions, testimony, comments, and presentations by the public will not be accepted virtually.
