PUBLIC NOTIFICATION FOR THE TWIN BRIDGE CAMPGROUND WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT Per 25 PA Code § 71.53(d)(6), the Twin Bridge Campground proposes to install a privately owned sewage treatment plant to treat an annual average daily flow of 11,200 gpd. The Twin Bridge Campground consists of 163 seasonal and 17-year-round campsites, and a single-family home situated on 33.7 acres. The site is located at 1345 Twin Bridge Road in St. Thomas and Hamilton Townships, Franklin County. The privately owned wastewater treatment plant will discharge effluent to Back Creek. The Sewage Facilities Planning Module is available for public review and comment at the: 1) St. Thomas Municipal Office at 965 Hade Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202 (717-369-2144, Office Hours M, W-F 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM); and 2) the Hamilton Township Municipal Office at 1270 Crottlestown Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 (717-264-2946, Office Hours M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Comments from the public must be provided in writing and forwarded to the respective Township Office. Comments shall be accepted for a 30-day period commencing on the date of this publication.
