PUBLICATION NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE
The requisite affidavit for publication having been filed, NOTICE is hereby given you, WILLIAM G. WELK, UNKNOWN OWNERS AND NONRECORD CLAIMANTS, Defendants in the above entitled suit, that a Complaint for Foreclosure of Judgment Liens was filed in the above entitled suit on June 22, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit, Tazewell County, Illinois, by the Plaintiffs against you and other Defendants, praying for the foreclosure of certain judgment liens recorded against the premises hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, unless you, the above named Defendants, WILLIAM G. WELK, UNKNOWN OWNERS and NONRECORD CLAIMANTS, file your answer to the Complaint in the suit or otherwise make your appearance therein, in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Tazewell County, in the Courthouse in Pekin, IL, on or before August 20, 2026, default may be entered against you at any time after that day and a Judgment for Foreclosure entered in accordance with the prayer of said Complaint.
The following information applies to the foreclosure proceedings:
(i) The names of all Plaintiffs and the case number: Plaintiffs: Fast Break Foods, LLC and MKM Oil, Inc, Case Number : 2026-FC-000128
(ii) The court in which the action was brought: The Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit, Tazewell County, IL.
(iii) The names of the title holders of record are: William G. Welk. A legal description of the real estate sufficient to identify it with reasonable certainty is as follows: TRACT 1: Lot 2 in STEINER'S CORNER, SECTION ONE, a subdivision in the Village of Morton, as shown on plat recorded in Plat Book "LL", pages 294 and 295; situated in Tazewell County, Illinois. TRACT 2: A part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section Seventeen (17), Township Twenty-Five (25) North, Range Three (3) West of the Third Principal Meridian, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 2 of STEINER'S CORNER, SECTION ONE, a Subdivision of part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17, the plat of which is recorded in Book "LL", page 294 in the Tazewell County Recorder's Office; thence North 89 degrees 51 minutes 35 seconds East, (bearing assumed for purpose of description only), 100.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 25 seconds East, 223.05 feet to the North line of Lot 3 of said STEINER'S CORNER, SECTION ONE; thence South 89 degrees 35 minutes 26 seconds West, along the North line of said Lot 3, 100.00 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 25 seconds West, along said East line of said Lot 2, 223.52 feet to the Point of Beginning; situated in Tazewell County, Illinois. TRACT 3: A part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section Seventeen (17), Township Twenty-Five (25) North, Range Three (3) West of the Third Principal Meridian, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 2 of STEINER'S CORNER, SECTION ONE, a Subdivision of part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17, the plat of which is recorded in Book "LL", page 294 in the Tazewell County Recorder's Office; thence North 89 degrees 51 minutes 35 seconds East, (bearing assumed for purpose of description only), along the North line of said Lot 2 extended, 100.00 feet to the Point of Beginning of the tract to be described: From the Point of Beginning, thence continuing North 89 degrees 51 minutes 35 seconds East, 150.20 feet; thence South 00 degrees 24 minutes 34 seconds East, 222.34 feet to a point on the South line extended of said Lot 2; thence South 89 degrees 35 minutes 26 seconds West, along the South line extended of said Lot 2, 151.25 feet; thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 25 seconds West, 223.05 feet to the Point of Beginning; situated in Tazewell County, Illinois. Names of Judgment Creditor MKM Oil, Inc., Date of Judgment April 30, 2026.
