Pacawa Park Public Pond Notice

Pacawa Park Public Pond Notice Lake and Pond Solutions, LLC has applied for a permit from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to treat the Village of Plover's fountain pond located at Pacawa Park, 1931 Maple Dr. (2.66 surface acres). Estimated treatments will be in the months of April through October 2026 to control nuisance aquatic growth and improve aesthetics. Treatment signs will be posted after the treatment and will state the restrictions associated with the products used. Lake and Pond Solutions, LLC will conduct a public informational meeting on the proposed treatments if five or more individuals, organizations, special units of government, or local units of government per permit request one. The meeting will give citizens a chance to learn more about the proposed treatments based on information provided to the citizens attending the meeting. Any request for a public meeting on these proposed treatments must be made within five days after this notice is published. The request must specify the property, topics to be discussed at the meeting, including problems and alternatives, and must be sent in writing to Lake and Pond Solutions, LLC, N1025 Julius Drive, Greenville, WI 54942 and copied to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, c/o Benjamin Ewoldt, 1300 W Clairemont, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
