Permissive Referendum PUBLIC NOTICE APALACHIN FIRE DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Apalachin Fire District, Tioga County, New York, at a meeting held on February 17, 2026duly adopted, subject to a permissive referendum, a resolution, an abstract of which is as follows: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS TO EXPEND UP TO $100,000 FROM THE EQUIPMENT RESERVE FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A POWERED AMBULANCE COT SYSTEM, AUTO-LOAD TECHNOLOGY, AND EMS EQUIPMENT SO AS TO PROVIDE ITS VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS AND EMERGENCY RESPONDERS WITH ADEQUATE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR THE DUTIES THEY PERFORM IN SERVICE AND IN TRAINING TO THE COMMUNITY SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM. RESOLUTION Dated February 17, 2026 RESOLVED, this 17th day of February 2026 by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Apalachin Fire District, Town of Owego, County of Tioga, State of New York, as follows: Section 1. The purchase of the following items: • Powered Ambulance Cot • Auto-Load technology for Ambulance Cot • Lithium-Ion Battery System • Associated equipment and installation of acquired equipment to a Fire District Ambulance is hereby authorized at a total maximum cost of $100,000, pursuant to section 6-g of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Section 2. The plan for financing of the aforesaid object or purpose consists of an expenditure of up to $100,000 from the principal and accumulated interest of the equipment capital reserve fund, duly established in 2003. Section 3.This resolution shall be subject to permissive referendum, as permitted by law. BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF THE APALACHIN FIRE DISTRICT, OWEGO, NEW YORK.
