Prairie Central CUSD #8 PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Prairie Central Community Unit School District No. 8 Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the 18th day of June, 2026 at 7:00 PM in the Prairie Central High School Library, 411 N 7th St, Fairbury, Illinois, 61739. The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive comment on the proposed transfer, pursuant to Section 17-2A of the Illinois School Code, of money estimated at $2,000,000 from the District's Tort Fund to the District's Operations and Maintenance Fund to be used for site preparation, drainage tiling and other permanent building maintenance items.
