Pubic Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 28th day of July, 2026 the Lakewood Township
Planning Board will hold a hearing on the application of Shual Halpern at which time and
place all interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. The applicant is
seeking approval for a Minor Subdivision to provide two (2) duplex structures on four (4)
zero lot line lots with variances.
The premises in question, Block 415, Lots 6, 7 and 8, commonly known as 2, 6 and 10
Edgewood Court located in the R-10 Zoning District of Lakewood Township.
The applicant is seeking variance relief from the following zoning requirements:
Minimum combined lot area (12,000 s.f. required, 11,250 s.f. is proposed for
combination of Lots 6.01/6.02, and 6.03/6.04
Minimum side yard setback of (10 ft. required, 7.5 ft. is proposed for Lots 6.01 through
6.04).
Maximum building coverage of 30% is requires, 34.5% is proposed for combination of
new Lots 6.01/6.02 and 6.03/6.04.
Said application shall also include a request for any and all other waivers that may be
required by submission and discussion of the plan.
The aforesaid application has been scheduled for a public hearing before the Lakewood
Township Planning Board on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Lakewood Township
Municipal Building, 231 Third Street, Lakewood, New Jersey at 6:00 p.m.
A copy of said application and documents is on file with the secretary of the planning
board and may be inspected from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except
on the day of the hearing, said map maybe inspected from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 212
Fourth Street, Lakewood, New Jersey, by all interested parties prior to said meeting.
