Public Hearing Notice- Local Law PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Common Council of the City of Ithaca will conduct two (2) Public Hearings at a regular meeting on Wednesday November 5th 2025, at 6 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 108 E. Green Street, Ithaca, New York to consider the following Local Laws 1- Local Law 2025-"A Local Law Amending Section C-44 of the Ithaca City Charter, "Proceedings to collect unpaid taxes", for the purpose of changing the date on which penalties for delinquent taxes are assessed" and 2- Local Law 2025- "A Local Law to Authorize the Override of the Tax Levy Limit Established in Section 3-c of the General Municipal Law for the Fiscal Year Commencing January 1, 2026" All interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. This meeting will be conducted via Zoom and will be live streamed on the City of Ithaca Public Meetings YouTube channel.
