Public Hearing Notice The Spring Brook Township Board of Supervisors have scheduled a public hearing to accept public comment on a proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of Spring Brook Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania (adopted February 9th, 2012, as amended). The hearing will be held Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 at 6:00PM in the Spring Brook Township Municipal Building, 966 State Route 307, Spring Brook Township, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to revise regulations regarding the keeping of livestock and poultry, to remove regulations regarding political signs, and to define, permit, and regulate data centers and data center accessory uses. A full copy of the proposed amendment is available for review at the Spring Brook Township Municipal Building between the hours of 8:00AM and 2:00PM, Monday through Friday or at the office of the publishing paper and the Lackawanna County Dep't. of Planning & Economic Development 123 Wyoming Avenue, Suite 505, Scranton, Pennsylvania during regular business hours.
