The City of Peoria will hold a Public Information Meeting concerning the proposed improvement of Reservoir Blvd from Sterling Ave. to the Railroad Tracks. The public information meeting will be held at Holy Family School at 2329 W Reservoir Blvd, Peoria on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 5:30 PM and online via Teams at https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/25318009852031?p=Nbs6KfOjbR4eOu4QUu Meeting ID: 253 180 098 520 31 Passcode: iU7Wk6VY. There will be a presentation at 5:30 PM followed by an opportunity to ask questions. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting. This is a federally-funded project, and the Public Information Meeting is being held in compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements and the Illinois Department of Transportation's public involvement policy.
Representatives of the City of Peoria and Hutchison Engineering will be available to answer questions after the formal presentation. Representatives will answer individual questions and record comments offered by those in attendance. Verbatim comments will not be recorded. The City of Peoria representatives will address topics such as the need for the project, the design alternatives under consideration, right-of-way acquisition, and the tentative construction schedule. Engineering analysis with drawings, maps, and aerial photography will be available for inspection and viewing. The same material will be made available for review and inspection on the City of Peoria's website and at the City of Peoria's Public Works building at 3505 N. Dries Lane, Peoria, IL.
