Public Meeting

Public Meeting Pursuant to the federal Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended, a public meeting in a hybrid format will be held as part of the federal performance evaluation of the Mission Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve. The meeting will be held from 6-7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Please register at https://forms.gle/KE6sjVSQfcqhy4VB6 by Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 6 p.m. CT. While advance registration is requested it is not required. In-person participation will be at the Education Center at 121 Seabreeze Drive Rockport, Texas. Information regarding attending the virtual and in-person meeting will be sent to all registered participants. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comments regarding the operation and implementation of the Mission Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve. Written comments are encouraged, and participation at the public meeting is not required for submission. Written comments should be emailed to czma.evaluations@noaa.gov no later than Friday, September 11, 2026. Include "MANERR Comments for Performance Evaluation" in the subject line.
