TAKE NOTICE that a hearing will be held on April 7th 2026 before the Borough of Hopatcong Land Use Board in Municipal Building, Hopatcong, Sussex County on the application of the undersigned for a variance(s):
1. 242-38.D(6) – Rear yard setback: 20 feet required, 3 feet to existing home, 5 feet to proposed Deck.
Pre-existing Nonconformities
1. 242-38.D(1) – Lot size: 15,000 sq. ft. required, 11,153 sq. ft. existing, and proposed.
2. 242-38.D(2) – Lot width: 145 Corner feet required, 137 feet existing and proposed.
3. 242-38.D(3) – Lot depth: 100 feet required, 74.12 feet existing and proposed.
4. 242-38.D(4) – Front yard setback: 40 feet required, 40 feet and 69 feet existing and proposed.
5. 242-38.D(5) – Side yard setback: 15 feet required, 3.1/68 feet existing and proposed.
6. 242-38.D(6) – Rear yard setback: 20 feet required: 3 feet to existing home.
7. 242-15.B(5) – Accessory structures are not permitted in the front yard: Existing shed in front yard

and designated as Block 50410 Lot 3 on the Borough of Hopatcong Tax Map.
Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the LAND USE BOARD.
The application and supporting documents will be on file in the Building Department Office located at the Borough of Hopatcong Municipal Building, 111 River Styx Road, Hopatcong, NJ ten days prior to hearing and are available for inspection during regular office hours.
The hearing will be at 7:00 PM at the Hopatcong Municipal Building on the aforementioned date.
