Please take notice that on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 7:00 P.M., the undersigned applicant, Nelson Martins, will appear before the Hazlet Township Land Use Board at the Hazlet Municipal Building, 1766 Union Avenue, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730, to seek approval of a Residential Bulk Variance for property located at 35 Calt Drive, Hazlet NJ 07730, also known as Block 183.03, Lot 5, in the R-IOO (Single Family Residential) Zone.
The Applicant seeks variance relief for: Article 181 Sections: 403.02D and 407.09
-An existing 10-foot x 16-foot shed having approximately 4.5-foot side yard and 3.5-foot rear yard setbacks where 10 feet is required. The applicant is requesting a variance of 5.5-foot from side yard and 6.5-foot from the rear yard.
-A proposed fire pit patio with sitting wall having a 6.5-foot side yard setback where 10 feet is required. The applicant is requesting a variance of 3.5-foot setback from the side yard.
-And any other variances or approvals deemed necessary by the Board.
The application documents are on file and available for public inspection at the office of the Hazlet Township Land Use Board during normal business hours.
