Public Notice Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority RVSA RNG Project and Air Permit Renewal Pursuant to New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations at N.J.A.C. 7:1C, et seq. (Environmental Justice), Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority (RVSA) will hold a public information session for the purpose of receiving oral and/or written comments on its renewable natural gas (RNG) project and air permit renewal at the RVSA facility. RVSA facility has been designated Program Interest Number 41702 and is authorized under the Title V Air Permit BOP240004. The facility is undergoing a Title V air permit renewal (BOP240001). Additionally, RVSA submitted an air permit modification application (BOP250001) to the NJDEP to authorize an RNG project. The EJ Project ID number is 35307593. The RVSA facility is an autonomous agency that owns and operates a trunk sewer system and a wastewater treatment facility in Rahway, New Jersey. RVSA is a "major source" of air pollution (as defined in N.J.A.C. 7:1C-1.5) and, as such, submittal of the air permit renewal application and air permit modification application for this RVSA RNG Project are subject to the recently adopted NJDEP regulations at N.J.A.C. 7:1C, et seq. (Environmental Justice).
