The Cumberland County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 15, 2026, beginning at 6:00 P.M. or shortly thereafter, at the Historic Courthouse Building, 130 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, and will hear the following:
BOA-2025-0020: Variance from Sec. 1104, Dist. Dimensional Provisions and Sec. 1002.E.4, Incidental Uses, County Zoning Ord., requesting a reduction in the min. front yard setback standard by up to five (5) feet for a 1,350 sf accessory structure and a reduction in the minimum building separation distance by four (4) feet for a parcel containing 0.49 +/- acres and subject to the RR Rural Res. Dist. Dimensional Standards; 6135 Linville St; Tony & Connie Gainey (Owners).
BOA-2025-0021: Variance from Section 1104, Dist. Dimensional Provisions and Sec. 1002.E.4, Incidental Uses, County Zoning Ord., requesting a reduction in the min. side yard setback standard by four (4) feet ten (10) inches for a two-story accessory building and garage with a floor area not to exceed 1,785 sq. ft. on a parcel containing 2.00 +/- acres within the A1 Agricultural Zoning District; 8255 Maxwell Rd; Sara Sealey (Agent/Applicant), of Mark Holden and Grace Perry Holden (Owners).
