Public Notice VILLAGE OF CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW OF THE VILLAGE OF CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON, REPEALING AND REPLACING CHAPTER 145 OF THE VILLAGE CODE, ENTITLED "TAXATION". PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that there has been introduced before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, on January 12, 2026, a proposed Local Law repealing and replacing Chapter 145 of the Village Code. A complete copy of the Introductory Local Law is available for inspection at the Village Clerk's Office. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Village Hall, 325 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York on January 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the evening of that day at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard. Any resident of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson or other interested party is entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing. The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson will make every effort to ensure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.
