Public Notice The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Waterford is proceeding with improvements to its Public Water System (PWS ID: 6250065). The name of the project is Lead Service Line Replacement Project – Phase 1. The project includes the replacement of 200 lead service lines with new service lines. The project site is located in Waterford Borough in Erie County, PA. The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Waterford will be applying to the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PennVest) for project funding. User rate impacts will be determined after receipt of a PennVest funding offer, which could include both low interest loan and/or grant. The project qualifies for and is being considered by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) for an environmental review Categorical Exclusion.
