Notice is hereby given that Chesapeake Apartments, LP is applying for an allowance of LIHTC's pursuant to a tax-exempt bond financing to be allocated by the Louisiana Housing Corporation and proposes to construct Chesapeake Apartments, a $21,299,625+/- ($5,221,081 debt - $8,286,967 equity, $7,500,00 CDBG - $291,577 deferred fee/ owner contribution), a new construction family rental complex consisting of 72 family units (8–1BR; 16-2BR; 48- 3BR) and 1 office/community facility, located Immediately East of 1100 W. 70th Street, Shreveport, LA 71106. The development will target large family, single parent and handicapped special needs groups.
