Public Notice
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes §160D-1311 and §160A-267, the City Council of the City of Asheville at its meeting on June 23, 2026 authorized the private sale of the following city-owned real estate: Real property consisting of approximately 3.72 acres located at 29 Oak Hill Drive, Asheville, North Carolina, more particularly identified on the Buncombe County tax map as PIN No. 9629-90-2093 (acquired by City-Deed Book 5682 at Page 599 in 2018); The property will be sold to Oak Hill, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company, for the purchase price of $1.00 in consideration for Oak Hill, LLC provision of at least 42 units affordable townhomes to be sold to households at or below 80% AMI to 110% AMI for a period of 20 years. The property will be subject to deed restrictions to ensure the provision of affordable housing for the affordability period. Pursuant to §160A-267, the conveyance of this property may not be concluded until at least ten (10) days after publication of this notice.
