PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village/Town of
Mount Kisco, New York will hold a Public Hearing on the 21st day of
July 2026 at the Municipal Building, Mount Kisco, New York, beginning at 7:00 PM
pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance on the Appeal of
Jeff & Heidi Harwitz
48 Rutland Street, Mt Kisco , NY 10549
from the decision of Peter J. Miley, Building Inspector, dated April 21, 2026
denying the application dated to permit the construction of 1-story addition that is
attached to an existing, noncomplying structure.
The property is known as 48 Rutland Street, Mt Kisco, NY 10549 and
described on the Village Tax Map as Section 69.79 Block 3 Lot 8
and is located on the West side of Rutland Street in an east/west/n/s
RS-9 Zoning District. Said Appeal is being made to obtain a variance from Section(s)
110-35 D of the
Code of the Village/Town of Mount Kisco, which requires that noncomplying buildings &
Structures may not be enlarged without a variance being obtained from the ZBA pursuant to this chapter.
