Public Notice for a Public Meeting and 60-day Comment Period - Hazardous Waste Permit Modification for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Pursuant to 40 CFR Part 270.42(b), this serves as notification that the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has received a request for authorization for modifications to the RCRA Part B Permit for the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation facility located at 500 Gulfstream Road in Savannah, Georgia. A public meeting to discuss the proposed permit modifications is scheduled for March 5, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Live Oak Public Library, Pooler Branch, located at 216 Rogers Street, Pooler, Georgia 31322. In conjunction with the permit modification, written comments can also be sent during the public comment period, which extends from February 5, 2026 to April 6, 2026 to the following address: Ms Scarlett Kastner Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division 2 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive SE, Suite 1154 East Tower Atlanta, Georgia 30334. Comments received after the public comment period ends will not be considered. The requested modifications include the decommissioning of 20 monitoring wells not associated with the groundwater monitoring program and removal of 4 compounds from the groundwater monitoring program analyte list.
