Public Notice of Blasting Schedule For Martin Shale Pit No. 4 Located In Antrim Township, Franklin County Notice is herein given that David H. Martin Excavating, Inc. of 4961 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg, PA 17202 will be conducting blasting operations within the permitted boundary of Martin Shale Pit No. 4 (SMP No. 28010302) at 2285 Williamson Road, Greencastle, PA located on the north side of Williamson Road approximately 0.15 mile east of the intersection with Stone Bridge Road. Blasting operations will occur periodically during the next year as conditions and mining operations warrant. Blasting will be scheduled during the weekdays – Monday thru Friday between the hours of 08:00 AM and 05:00 PM. Access to the shale pit will be closed to all unauthorized personnel during blasting operations. Warning of pending detonation of charges will be indicated by three (3) short blasts of an air horn. All clear will be signaled by one long sounding of an air horn. In the event of an emergency, unsafe site conditions, or poor weather conditions the blasting operations could be delayed beyond the scheduled hours. All blasting operations will be performed by licensed blasters in strict accordance with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Mining regulations. Any concerns or questions may be directed to David H.
