PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this project is to improve pedestrian safety and reduce traffic incidents over a 1.4-mile stretch of Mt. Ephraim Avenue. Users include motorists, pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles.
The goal of this project is to upgrade Mt. Ephraim Avenue to make it a "Complete Street," safely and efficiently accommodating all users including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and motorists. Goals are as follows:
Improve crosswalks for pedestrian access & safety.Improve bicyclist access & safety.Improve pavement and underground infrastructure.
