Public Notice of NJDEP Application Take notice that an application for a Flood Hazard Area Individual Permit will be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Division of Land Resource Protection for the project described below: APPLICANT: Camden County 2311 Egg Harbor Road Lindenwold, NJ 08021 PROJECT NAME: Mt. Ephraim Avenue Safety Improvements Project PROJECT AREA: Between Ferry Avenue and Pine Street BLOCK: LOT: Not Applicable PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to improve pedestrian safety and reduce traffic incidents over a 1.4-mile stretch of Mt. Ephraim Avenue. Users include motorists, pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles. The goal of this project is to upgrade Mt. Ephraim Avenue to make it a "Complete Street," safely and efficiently accommodating all users including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and motorists. Goals are as follows: Improve crosswalks for pedestrian access & safety.Improve bicyclist access & safety.Improve pavement and underground infrastructure.
