
Public Notice of NWCCU Year 7 Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness
The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will conduct Olympic College's Year Seven Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness on April 15-17, 2026. An NWCCU evaluation team will be meeting with students, faculty, staff and OC Board of Trustees. The purpose of the visit will be to evaluate the institution against the Commission's requirements for eligibility and accreditation standards.
NWCCU reaffirmed OC's accreditation in January 2019 based on its 2018 evaluation. In 2025, OC went through its Year Six Standard 2 – Policies, Regulations, and Financial Review (PRFR) evaluation.
Prior to this evaluation visit, members of the public may provide comment on OC's qualifications for accreditation. To be considered, all comments must be signed and delivered to NWCCU at least ten days prior to the start of the visit (April 5, 2026). Comments should be addressed to:
