Public Notice of Stormwater Discharge

Public Notice of Stormwater Discharge Interstate Power and Light Company (Alliant Energy) to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Stormwater General Permit No. 2 – Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities. The stormwater discharge will be from 2.81 acres of land disturbance within the IPL property due to the rebuilding and expansion of an existing electrical substation. The stormwater discharge will be located in NW 1/4 of Section 24, Township 84 North, Range 24 West, Story County, Iowa, north of East Riverside Rd and West of N Dayton Ave. Stormwater will be discharged to the following receiving streams: Overland flow to South Skunk River.
