Public Notice of Vehicle Possession and Pending Sale The City of Clive has taken possession of the following described vehicles: A 2015 Volkswagen Passat, vehicle identification 1VWBS7A30FC032830 AL Plate 47C0576; and a 2005 Pontiac Vibe vehicle identification 5Y2SL63825Z441409, Iowa Plate KKR524. The afore-described vehicles have been abandoned and/or seized, and no rightful owner has come forth. In compliance with Chapter 321.89 of the Code of Iowa, the above described vehicles are now being held, and will be sold on Gov Deals on or after November 20, 2025 unless reclaimed at the Clive Police Department by the owner or lienholders within ten days of the date of the publication of this notice by payment of all towing preservation and storage charges resulting from placing the vehicle in custody and upon payment of the costs of this notice. Failure of the owner or lienholders to exercise their right to reclaim the vehicle within the time provided shall be deemed a waiver by the owner and all lienholders of all right, title and interest in the vehicle and such failure to reclaim the vehicle is deemed consent to the sale of the vehicle on Gov Deals or disposal of the vehicle to a demolisher. The owner or any lienholder may, by written request delivered to the Clive Police Department 8800 Hickman Rd Clive, Iowa 50325 prior to the expiration of the (5) days within which the vehicle can be reclaimed.
