Public Notification Regarding the Proposed Construction of a Private Use Heliport on the Sarasota Memorial Health (SMH) Hospital site in North Port, Florida In accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) procedure, Florida Administrative Code Chapter 14-60 Airport Licensing, Registration, and Airspace Protection, Sarasota Memorial Health is hereby providing public notice that it intends to register and construct a private use helistop to be located on their property in North Port, FL. Specifically, the heliport site will be located east of Sumter Blvd, and south of Interstate 75 in North Port, Florida. The helistop is intended for the itinerant private use of the Hospital, there is not anticipated to be based helicopters or fueling on the premises.
